when you look in the mirror
what do you see?
you’re no longer the person
you used to be.
once a person who cherished
each moment and made it last
taking chances, wanting change
living in each moment,
dancing in the rain.
now you’re a person
afraid to hear the truth
becoming a ghost
of you once were
unrecognizable. a blur.
when you look in the mirror
I hope you see what I see.
